Appearances/Events

I’m always honored when someone asks me to appear on their site or at a venue. More than a little surprised, too. In a sense they’ve welcomed me into their home-away-from-home. So, as a thank you, I’d love for them to get as much exposure as possible. Thus, I’ve listed each appearance and book event here in the hopes that you’ll enjoy these articles, interviews, and/or events. Perhaps you’ll find a new favorite place, too. Win-win!

As you might notice, after 2015, my writing career kept me so busy I’ve had little time to update this page. Now in July 2020, I’m trying to do better. Please excuse the lapse in time. I can barely remember what day is, never mind remember all the places I appeared at over the last five years. 😉

Every Other Monday Year-Round

    Hello, Sue—

My name is Claudia Deichert, and I work with Killer Nashville International Writers’ Conference, an annual writing convention for mystery, thriller, and suspense writers! Taking place every August, we are preparing for the eighteenth Killer Nashville conference.

I’m writing to see if you’ll be a judge for our Best Books of 2022.

As a part of the conference’s offerings, we have multiple writing competitions, including the Silver Falchion Awards. The mission of the Silver Falchion is to discover and honor the best books containing elements of mystery, thriller and suspense of the previous year. Due to an incredible amount of entries, we are looking for judges for the Silver Falchion. I am reaching out in hopes you would do us the honor of being one of our judges! Judging entails reading a manuscript and completing a short electronic judging form afterwards.

If you are interested, please let me know and I will send you a manuscript shortly!

    Thank you for your time!

I look forward to hearing from you,

    Claudia Deichert
