  1. The Mistress of Macabre strikes again!
Your hypnotic appeal, the superb way you write, the ease with which you draw the reader into the story, it is all so hugely enjoyable….I love the way you lure us up blind alleys of expectation, love the way you lure us to assume the obvious and then bludgeon us with more twists and turns than a rampant corkscrew….totally spellbinding tale, brilliant thoughout with a knockout ending……loved it!!!

  2. How very interesting and heart breaking to read this from the point of view of the victim, and your finale was quite surprising.

  3. I feel it was me descending slowly in the murky waters. Slow, aware of my sorroundings, in love & in shock.

And that SOB, tending the corps as a garden. But, I will prevail.

    Great, as always, Ms. Sue

  4. Well played, Sue! Well played 😀

  5. Oooh, so well done! I was scratching my head at the prison bars part, wondering what you were up to, and then that ending…nice payoff and nicely executed!

I’m currently in Sue Coletta mode having finished WINGS OF MAYHEM last night. I still have Shawnee voice in my head. How long do I have to wait for book two? Mayhem was so good!!!

I posted a review to Amazon early but it still hasn’t shown up *grumble* I did post to Goodreads too, so you can find it there. I’ll give Amazon two days to post and then I’ll try again. You know how they are *grumble, grumble*

  6. I got some really cool visuals from this one. The ending makes me think you need a puppy even more.

  7. Great description and so emotional. And that twist was so clever, and craftily set up. Had me going off on all the wrong tangents.
